Refreshing Sugar-Free Oreo Ice Cream

Then this healthy, sugar-free Oreo ice cream recipe of mine is for you! Grab your spatulas and let's get cooking.

Ingredients

250 ml heavy cream

350 ml of whole milk

150g coconut sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon sea salt 

250g of sugar-free Oreos

Instructions

Step 1: In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the cream, milk, coconut sugar, vanilla, and salt, and whisk for 5 minutes, or until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warmed through.


Step 2: Pour into a microwave-safe bowl, cover, and chill for 2 hours or overnight.


Step 3: After it is set, remove the cover and whisk well.


Step 4: Crumble the sugar-free oreas and put them with the ice cream in an ice cream maker for about 20 to 30 minutes, or according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Useful tips

  • You can swap out oreos for any kind of cookie.

  • Whole milk can be substituted for any non-dairy barista milk.
