Looking for an Italian pasta recipe to spice up your dinner?
Then this recipe of mine is for you; just grab some pasta and let's get cooking.

Servings: 6 Difficulty: Medium
Cooking time: 20 minutes Preparation time: 5 minutes Total time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
230g uncooked pasta
2 tablespoons of butter
3 cloves garlic minced
30g sun-dried tomatoes
250g minced turkey meat
200g canned tomatoes without peels
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
A dash of salt
A dash of pepper
Freshly grated parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
Step 1: Boil a large, salted pot of water for your pasta and cook for about 8–10 minutes (it needs to be firm, although not hard or chalky, when bitten).
Step 2: In a skillet, add the butter and melt it over medium heat.
Step 3: Add the garlic and cook until brown, for about 30 seconds.
Step 4: Soak the sun-dried tomatoes in hot water for about 5 minutes and add them to a skillet.
Step 5: In the same skillet, add the minced turkey meat, break it up with a spatula, then add the Italian seasoning and canned tomatoes, and let it cook until the sauce becomes thick.
Step 6: Toss with the cooked pasta (add in a splash of the pasta water prior to draining if the sauce gets too thick) and serve with a handful of parmesan cheese.
Useful tips
- For this recipe, the best pasta to use is spagethi.
- You can swap out the minced turkey meat, for any ground meat, or meat substitute.
