Then this easy cauliflower bite recipe of mine is just for you. Just grab a cauliflower and let's get to cooking.

Servings: 12 Difficulty: Easy

Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 30 minutes Total time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

One cauliflower head (500g)

1 eggs

150g all-purpose flour

1 tsp Himalayan salt

1/4 tsp dried sweet paprika

1/4 tsp dried basil

70g mozzarella sticks (string mozzarella cheese)

60g breadcrumb

Instructions

Step 1: Cut the cauliflower into smaller pieces and boil it until soft (about 5–10 minutes).

Step 2: Mash up the cauliflower, put it into a medium-sized bowl and dry out with some paper towels.

Step 3: Into the cauliflower mass, add an egg, flour, salt, sweet paprika and dried basil to make a batter similar to play dough.

Step 4: Cut the mozzarella stick into 4 pieces each.

Step 5: Take a spoon full of the batter and shape it around 1 piece of mozzarella cheese to form the bites.

Step 6: Coat the bites with breadcrumbs and place them in an air fryer.

Step 7: Bake in the air fryer at around 180°C for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 8: Serve and enjoy!

Useful tips

  • You can change out the mozzarella sticks for any kind of soft cheese you prefer.

  • If you don’t have an air fryer, use the over with a fan function at around 180°C for 12–15 minutes, turning them around after half the time.
