Summer is back?

One of the first the first things you think about after hearing the word 'Dubai' is the turquoise beaches with their immaculate surroundings and clear skies.

Although the turquoise colour of the waters of the Arabian Gulf is very dominant in the landscape of Dubai as well, it can be seen as a preferred paint colour for vehicles, boats, and buildings in the city's industrial areas.

So there is no other better colour to paint your nails if you're planning a trip to Dubai!

The plan

As I'm one of those people who love to match their nails with outfits or occasions, the first thing after we booked the flight tickets to the UAE was my nail design planning.

I took my oval-shaped nail design template and looked up some of the reference photos, such as a picture of the Dubai Sea or the well-known Burj Al Arab.

Even though I wanted to create some interesting nail designs, they had to be cohesive and simple at the same time. That's why 3 out of 5 nails are just one colour or a minimalistic French tip. The other two nails are basically just an impression of a wavy, sandy beach.

The finished design

The execution went quite smoothly, and the design came out even better than expected!
