Climbing the ladder
While I have been volunteering at the "Lesė" animal shelter for about half a year now, until today I was still considered a new volunteer...
After this week's cat volunteering session, I finally took on all the courage and decided that it was time to move forward, and that's why I wrote an email to ask if I could take the test to become an experienced volunteer, at least when working with cats.
While I felt very nervous, the director, who replayed, was very nice in explaining how everything worked: I only needed to answer some question that she gave me, and if I did it correctly, I would pass the 'exam' and become an experienced volunteer.

The questions in themselves were actually pretty easy, and I answered all of them in like 20 minutes, but I was still unsure if I would pass. Although, after about 2–3 hours, I got the reply, I WAS FINALLY AN EXPERIENCED VOLUNTEER!
This title now allows me to learn to do cat procedures, including needles, and also partly supervise the new cat volunteers, which is a step forward towards the goal of becoming an experienced volunteer in both sectors (cats and dogs).
