Simpler, but Perfect

Today was another fulfilling day of my usual volunteer work at the shelter, spending time with the cats. It’s always a peaceful experience, and there’s something grounding about being around these sweet, calm creatures.
I started the day by giving the cats their morning meals, making sure they were all fed and settled. After that, it was playtime, and I spent a good amount of time simply sitting with them, letting them curl up in my lap or watching them explore their space. Every cat has such a unique personality, and it's always a joy to see how they interact with each other and their environment.

I also did some cleaning around the shelter to make sure everything was tidy and comfortable for the cats. Keeping their space clean and safe is one of the most important parts of my role, so I spent a bit of time making sure they had fresh bedding and clean litter boxes.
It was a simple day, but one that was full of small moments of joy. Whether I’m playing, cleaning, or just sitting quietly with the cats, each visit always reminds me of the simple pleasures of giving care and attention to these lovely animals.
